Crossed vulnerabilities: women and their diverse experiences

Abstract:

This article aims to investigate the cross vulnerabilities that mark women as a multifaceted subject. For that, priority was given to labor market and care provision indicators. The methodology was the descriptive analysis of data from the National Continuous Household Sample Survey, of 2018. The findings indicate that black, poor women and poor black women, in general, are more vulnerable. Therefore, despite the gender norms reaching all women the data show that the effects are graded according to the color and social class to which they belong.
