Abstract
The objective of this article is to describe the expressions of gender violence experienced by students of PROEJA at IFMA, at the Codó Campus, in Maranhão State and analyze the repercussions of this violence on their school trajectories. It is a descriptive study of a qualitative nature, adopting a narrative and in-depth interviews as data construction techniques. It discusses the violation of the right to education, the various determinants of gender violence and then presents the results of the study concerning social conditions of poverty during childhood and adolescence, and the expressions of conjugal violence in the educational trajectory of women.
