Abstract
In this article, we start from Foucault's lessons about the art of governing as a multiplicity of ways of managing oneself, others, goods, the state or other phenomena, to understand how the government of oneself and others occurs from the Lin da Quebrada's participation in BBB 22. The objective is to analyze the way of enunciating transvestility and representativeness and the conditions for the emergence of this discourse. The discussion will be undertaken based on Foucauldian discursive studies (Foucault, 1999a, 1999b, 2002, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2013a, 2013b, 2013c) and gender and sexuality studies (Louro, 2001; Butler, 2000). The methodology used is Foucault's (2008) enunciative analysis. We conclude that the government of self and others is undertaken in BBB 22 through discursive practices that fall within the order of discourse of transvestility and representativeness.
