This paper discusses substance abuse and juvenil delinquency as related to the clinical and legal interventions that often occur in these situations. The inefficiency of court intervention and the failure of the adolescents themselves to adhere to mental health treatment programs have come to an impasse. What operations separate limits and responsibilities? The shared construction of a clinic that is amplified in its psychoanalytic and legal interfaces makes it possible to rethink actions aimed at adolescents where intensive psychological work is carried out for social legitimacy.
