I approach the “penis envy” from two schools of depth psychology: psychoanalysis and analythical psychology. I am interested, above all, in the emotional and mental development of women. I emphasize three categories: judging rage, penetrating thought and welcoming thought. Here these three modalities of emotional and mental experience are connected to the Real, to internal and external reality. Through thoughtless and traditional opinions, judging gives rise to attacks on external and internal reality, attacks on connecting links. Penetrating thought seeks to inquire, to penetrate the secrets of reality, seen as ambiguous, indiscriminate, obscure or unconscious. Welcoming thought takes Real at its very source. The Real occurs at the same time as thought.
