ABSTRACT
This study aims to evaluate the development of grouts, a material that is widely used in the Brazilian civil construction sector, applying recycled ceramic aggregates in different ratios. For that purpose, multiple substitution percentages of rough natural aggregates for the ceramic block residue were studied considering the results of loss of fresh state slump-flow, axial compressive strength, modulus of elasticity, ultrasonic wave transmission velocity, and capillary absorption. The results showed a compressive strength decrease of the grouts, mainly 30% and 50% ratios. On the other hand, all of them met the normative parameters for this application, indicating the potential application of this alternative material in civil construction.
