Influence of release agents on the final quality of concrete elements

ABSTRACT

This article aims to highlight the influence of deformation agents on the final quality of concrete elements, highlighting the main consequences and pathologies related to the type of release agent used, application execution and post-deformation cleaning. In this sense, we seek to conduct a study based on the integrative review, having analyzed works relevant to the content covered, based on articles published in journals and bibliographic survey relevant to the study. The database built took into consideration mainly the relationship of the works with the research objective and used the following research sources: SCIELO, Portal Capes, Google Scholar and Science Direct, as well as the results of dissertations were used to build the discussions of search. From these, a qualitative analysis of the works was implemented and we concluded that the misuse of the release agents results in a series of pathologies such as stains, breaks in the section of the concrete element, the appearance of bubbles and / or voids on the surface of the concrete element, as well as adhesion problems with coatings.
