ABSTRACT
Connarus vulcanicus J. F. Morales, a new species endemic to the Cordillera of Guanacaste in Costa Rica is described and illustrated and its relationship with G. schultesii Standl. is discussed. A key to the species of the genus Connarus in Costa Rica is included.
