Abstract
The floristic treatment of Rhizophoraceae from the canga formations of the Serra dos Carajás, in Pará state, Brazil, is presented and includes morphological descriptions, comments on geographic distribution and preferential habitats, as well as illustrations of Cassipourea peruviana, the only registered species of Rhizophoraceae in the area.
