Abstract
This study includes the species of Turneraceae recorded for the canga vegetation of the Serra dos Carajás, Pará state. It provides identification keys, detailed descriptions, illustrations, morphological comments and photographs of the species. Four species were registered, all of them for the genus Turnera: T. coerulea, T. glaziovii, T. melochioides and T. laciniata, the latter, endemic to the state.
