Abstract
Calophyllum brasiliense (Calophyllaceae) is described as a contribution to the rupestral flora of the cangas of the Serra dos Carajás. Calophyllum brasiliense has a wide distribution in the Neotropics, growing usually in restinga areas and/or associated with watercourses. Additionally, the species is illustrated and taxonomic comments are provided.
