ABSTRACT
A taxonomic study of Passiflora subg. Decaloba in Southeastern Brazil is presented. Eight species were recognized - P capsularis L., P misera Kunth, P morifolia Mast., P organensis Gardn., P pohlii Mast., P suberosa L., P tricuspis Mast. and P truncata Regel. A key for the identification of the sections and the species of the subgenus in Southeastern Brazil, along with their descriptions, types, examined material, common names, habitat, phenology, geographic distribution, etymology, and taxonomic comments are presented, as well as illustrations and distribution maps.
