ABSTRACT
This paper is a taxonomic study of the genus Sporobolus and Leptochloa based in analysis of the material proceeding from collections and deposited in the main Pernambuco herbaria. It was confirmed the ocurrence of four species of Sporobolus and three of Leptochloa. Descriptions of the taxa, keys for the species and information about ecology and geographic distribution of the species are presented.
