Circulação, usos sociais e sentidos sagrados dos terços católicos

This article presents a reflection on the modalities of sacralization at stake in the movement and the social uses of Catholic rosaries. You take a path that some of the narratives about the origins of traditional religious object, associated with key figures in Catholicism, followed by the presentation of the practices of prayer finally reaching a comparison with other objects considered sacred in Catholicism. In this way, it is emphasized that the procedures of sacralization of the third uses are compatible with both special and ordinary inserted in a process of broad social movements, often performed by non-religious ways.
