The text explores the continuity of religious beliefs and practices in a group of Italian Jews through the family and the community, as a place of religious socialization.
The analytical perspective is given by religion concept as memory to understand how religion is lived in today's society, the interpretation and take ownership of legacy.
The field of research is the Jewish community of Padua, historically based in the city, a religious minority in relation to the Catholic faithful in Italy. The methodological techniques used are participant observation, the interviews with family album.
