Paracoccidioidomicose em paciente coma infecção pelo vírus da imunodeficiência humana: relato de necrópsia

This is a case report of the association of Paracoccidioidomycosis and Acquired Immunodeficieitcy Syndrome (AIDS) occurring in a 43-year old male. This is, to the best of our knowledge, the first detailed pathological account of that association. Also discussed are the low rates of that association, its natural history and treatment results. It is emphasised the importance of the associations of AIDS and tropical infectious diseases in this country.
