Biology of Anopheles (Kerteszia) neivai H., D. & K., 1913 (Diptera: Culicidae) on the Pacific Coast of Colombia: III. Light intensity measurements and biting behavior

The study of mosquitoes captured while biting man in a forest cleared zone of Charambirá, Chocó, on the Pacific Coast of Colombia, indicated that changes in light intensity stimulated the beginning and end of the flight activity of Anopheles (Kerteszia) neivai, a species with crepuscular biting behavior incriminated as malaria vector in this region of the county.
