The objective of this study was to develop a suitable methodology for the intrablock analysis of experiments in split-plot involving a two-way treatment structure when the design structure for whole plot experimental units is a partially balanced incomplete block design. Using the least square procedure expressions were developed to determine the sums of squares of the variance analysis and the justification of the F test.
