Abstract
This essay develops arguments and proposals to provide elements to construct and implement a new workforce policy and management for the Brazilian National Health System (SUS). This is a work focused both in helping collective health researchers and specialists and in supporting social movements created to assure the sustainability of the SUS and the adequate working conditions to professionals.
