Open-access Use of the mobile application e-SUS Território between 2019 and 2023: An ecological study of time series

ABSTRACT

The aim of this study was to investigate the time-space distribution of the use of e-SUS Território mobile application between 2019 and 2023 and the growth trend up to 2030. This is an ecological time series study, with data extracted from Google Analytics about active users and from DATASUS about community health agents. Statistical analysis included linear regression and analysis of variance to investigate growth trends and regional variations. The analysis showed an increase in the number of app users, from 76,944 in 2019 to 746,598 in 2023, with the Northeast and Southeast regions showing the most significant growth. The projection of active users until 2030 indicates continued growth, reaching approximately 1.08 million users. The analysis revealed that although the number of community agents did not show a direct correlation with the increase in users, adherence to e-SUS Território has been positive, reflecting the impact of information technology on Primary Health Care management. In this way, it can be seen that the digital strategy can contribute to improving the organization of and access to healthcare.
