This paper discusses care dimensions from the authors' experiences on obstetrics teaching. It presents the strategies applied in the traineeship supervision as for two dimensions of humanized care: the dealing professionals-women and the organization of services in two hospitals. Initially, a brief reading is made on Health Humanization Police and on the shape of a new health care paradigm. Hence, it discusses the absorption of this dimension in the teaching-learning processes from two situations experienced during the traineeships. The analysis showed that some hospital professionals where traineeships are held absorbed the practices developed, and that service organization and health care practices are gradually being transformed.
