Paresi flux between levels of health attention at the Indigenous Special Sanitary District in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso

ABSTRACT

A case study that aimed at describing the flow among the levels of attention to the health of the Paresi people, in the Indigenous Special Sanitary District in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso. The flow foreseen by the Indigenous Special Sanitary District does not take into account neither the local health organization nor the instances of the the Brazilian Public Health System, which was foreseen in the flow established by health professionals. Both interact to the established flow by the indigenous themselves. The conclusion was that the Indigenous District Health Plan flow is unsuitable. The conventional flow foresees this approach, but not the particularity observation, which makes it difficult for the access of this population to all levels of attention
