Productive restructuring in health: performance and challenges of the Family Health Support Center

ABSTRACT

Case studies to identify strategies for the Family Health Support Center, verifying its process of productive restructuring, as well as its challenges. Techniques of documentary analysis, direct observation and interviews were used. The results show that the support of management, integrated planning, agile communication, co-management, reflection on practice, qualification of professionals and adequate infrastructure enable the shared performance between professionals. Challenges remain such as inadequate formation for the practice of matrix support, however, a productive restructuring process with the potential to expand actions and qualify the health care was identified.
