Phytoindication as a method for environmental change assessment in forest remnants and urban areas of Sergipe

This work has as its goal the use of plant indicators of rapid environmental changes in both urban and rainforest environments, aiming to monitor environmental systems by the phytoindication method, that in this work, concerns the comparison of the phenological activity of Clitoria fairchildiana in Junco Forest and urban areas of the city of Aracaju, also based on statistical tests such Chi-squared and Spearman correlation. The more pronounced correlations in relation to rainfall were found in rates of activity and intensity of the flowering phenophase for the species in the Junco Forest. There were significant differences between phenological activity of populations in different environments, with the exception of the activity index of fruiting, and thus the flowering phenophase the most suitable for phytoindication studies.
