O que é uma normatividade vital? Saúde e doença a partir de Georges Canguilhem

This article discusses the concept of vital normativity in the light of Georges Canguilhem's distinction between the normal and the pathological. After showing how the basis of this distinction can be found in his definition of normality as a flexible relationship between an organism and its environment, I will show how conceiving of vital normativity in this way opens space for reflection on the nature of social norms.
