Open-access The Sinase as a hybrid social policy: the interface between justice, education, and social assistance

This text assumes that the National Socio-Educational System (Sinase) is organized at the interface of social assistance, education, and the justice system. It points out the conservative and emancipatory tendencies in dispute regarding the care of adolescents who commit infractions in the capitalist context. Sinase represents an advance in socio-education, although it presents challenges in guaranteeing the full protection of adolescents in a scenario of advancing capital violence and regression of social policy.
