Work conditions and the social workers' struggle for a thirty-hour working journey

This article analyzes the process of struggle and conquest of a thirty-hour working journey by the Brazilian social workers, in the context of crisis of the capital and expansion of Social Services graduation courses. The struggle for the thirty-hour working journey is inserted in the struggle of both the CFESS (Federal Social Services Council) and the CRESS (Regional Social Services Councils) for better working conditions and for the guarantee of work and quality for all the working class.
