In this article it is analyzed the theoretical neodevelopmental production, focusing on its agenda for the State and the social policy. It was identified that the platform of the neodevelopmental social policy is centered in the implementation of redistributive measures aimed at social inclusion through mass consumption; it conforms a model of social policy as an economic growth factor; and, besides that, it proposes a new kind of State, which becomes a great consumer of traded goods and social services.
