Walking on the sand: Politics, coexistence and conflict in Salvador (1945-1949)

Abstract

This article analyses political actions established between different social groups who work out points of equilibrium while they express their differences and also calculate the risks of a conflict. This article seeks to understand how the poor electorate can be valued by the prognostics of influent leaderships.
