Analysis of evaluative evidence on the effectiveness of e-leadership in higher education

Abstract

The evolution of virtual learning environments highlights the importance of the role of leaders in enhancing both the development of institutions and the achievement of their goals and objectives. In this research In this research, using a descriptive and quantitative methodology through a cross-sectional study based on the application of the questionnaire: Adaptation of the VAL-ED to the university context, we have been able to study the main evidence used to evaluate pedagogical e-leadership in on-line Higher Education in Spain, which will allow us to advance both in a better understanding of the effectiveness of leadership behaviors focused on learning, as well as to what extent, the different evidences available to the people who interact with managers, are determinants when assessing the performance of learning management in Higher Education in on-line formative contexts.
