Open-access The discourse that (re)vea/ils the translator

This paper aims to analyse how translators represent themselves and the work of translation when they talk about it. Based on the theory of Discourse Analyses of French perspective, we investigated four notes written by translators in the beginning of four different books. Although, through their discourse, translators continue to consolidate the idea of translation as writing the same meaning in a different language, we can observe that they see themselves as interpreters of the texts even when they try to deny it.
