FROM VISIBLE TO NAMED: FRAMINGS OF THE HUMAN

ABSTRACT

Through a cross reading that we put into relation, this paper tries to understand the processes of the constitution of senses and the production of subjectivities, having as an object a series of images, utterances and enunciations. We take the question of vagrancy as a place to think about how a kind of violence returns as it moves through the centuries in both its practices of repression and transgression. The objects to which we direct our eyes are thought of as events, in the sense that they are a kind of meeting point between a very familiar memory, that of slavery, of feminicide and of the crime of vagrancy in Brazil, with a and perversely daily reality, the contemporary (and not so contemporary) forms of life management, border demarcation and asymmetric distribution of violence by the state.
