ABSTRACT
This article analyzes the field of historical studies of the Rockefeller Foundation in Latin America and introduces the dossier “Connections and Networks of the Rockefeller Foundation in Latin America” published by the journal Topoi. Revista de História. Based on a bibliographical study, the article discusses the recent shift in historiography toward internationalizing approaches, such as Global History. It reflects on the reception of this movement in the History of Science and Health and possible similarities with the History of Global Health. It discusses the different historiographical perspectives on the Rockefeller Foundation, its developments in Latin America, and future research prospects. The articles comprising the dossier are also presented.
