Possibilities and limits of healing in the proto-archaelogical texts of Michel Foucault

The paper aims to interpret as Foucault conceives the possibility of healing in the speeches and psychological practices in its proto-archaelogical phase. To accomplish this purpose, talks about the two most important texts of this phase - Maladie Mentale et Personnalité and the introduction to Le Rêve et l'Existence - showing how these texts to draw a design that psychopatology should subsidize a psychotherapy practice. There is, however, that there is an inherent contradiction in the two texts, which sometimes complement and sometimes conflict in the way of understanding mental illness. We finished so demarcate all the intensity of this contradiction, showing indecision theory of Foucault on the status of psychology.
