Jürgen Habermas and Michel Foucault

The main purpose of this paper is to develop a reflection on the relations between Michel Foucault's archaeo-genealogy of the relationships between truth, power and discourse, and the critical theory of society of the Frankfurt School. The discussion is taken up in the context of Habermas' critique of Foucault in The Philosophical Discourse of Modernity.
