ABSTRACT:
Netnography is recognized as a useful research tool for collecting and analyzing online information from consumers and customers. The purpose of this article is to outline a bibliometric panorama on tourism studies that apply netnography. The methodology used was a bibliometric, qualitative analysis using the analytical software program VOSviewer to examine the authorships, citations, major magazines, and geographic distribution. The results showed a growth in the number of studies and articles that apply this methodology to tourism, presenting significant contributions regarding the behavior and experience of tourists and consumers.
