Survey respondido por 168 usuários registrados no serviço Sharetribe e que foram recrutados por meio de um boletim informativo oficial do Sharetribe por e-mail. Os dados demográficos descritivos foram analisados com o SPSS 20, e todos os testes foram conduzidos por mínimos quadrados parciais (PLS), e a análise foi feita com o SmartPLS 2,0 M3.

A sustentabilidade percebida do serviço de compartilhamento está associada positivamente à atitude em relação ao consumo colaborativo, não apresentando efeito direto sobre as intenções comportamentais. O prazer exerce efeito significativo tanto na atitude das pessoas em participar das práticas de compartilhamento quanto na intenção comportamental. A reputação afeta de maneira significativa a atitude das pessoas em relação às atividades compartilhadas, bem como a intenção comportamental. Os benefícios econômicos exercem influência direta e positiva na intenção comportamental de participar das práticas de compartilhamento. Quanto à relação empírica entre atitude e intenção comportamental, identificou-se que a atitude em relação aos SMC exerce uma influência direta e positiva nas intenções comportamentais. |

A coleta dos dados ocorreu por meio de dois estudos on-line quantitativos independentes, distribuídos sequencialmente por meio de uma lista de discussão para estudantes da Universidade de Hamburgo: no estudo 1, foram pesquisados os usuários do serviço de compartilhamento de carros B2C Car2Go; e no estudo 2, foram pesquisados os usuários do mercado de hospedagem comunitária on-line C2C Airbnb. A modelagem de caminho de mínimos quadrados parciais (PLS) com base em variância técnica foi aplicada para testar as hipóteses utilizando o software SmartPLS 2.0.

Foram constatadas a satisfação e a probabilidade de escolher uma opção de compartilhamento novamente para ser explicada predominantemente por determinantes que servem de benefício próprio aos usuários. Quanto às motivações, o valor do preço, o prazer e os benefícios domésticos explicam significativamente a atitude geral em relação ao Airbnb. Quanto às restrições, a desconfiança é o único fator que prevê significativamente a atitude geral, enquanto a insegurança está diretamente relacionada às intenções comportamentais. Atitude geral, controle comportamental percebido e normas subjetivas, como influência social, tendência e afinidade, são preditores de intenções comportamentais. |

Ao analisar as motivações intrínsecas, a variável sustentabilidade não foi capaz de prever significativamente a atitude para CC e tampouco teve influência direta ou indireta nas intenções de comportamento para CC. A variável satisfação percebida foi positivamente associada à atitude em relação ao CC e à intenção de comportamento na participação do consumo colaborativo. A análise das motivações extrínsecas evidenciou que o possível aumento na reputação não causa influência nas atitudes em relação ao CC, como também não está associado à intenção comportamental no que tange à participação do consumo colaborativo. Ainda nas motivações extrínsecas, em contraposição ao observado na variável reputação, as motivações relativas a benefícios econômicos foram positivamente associadas a atitudes em relação ao consumo colaborativo e tiveram influência significativamente positiva na intenção comportamental de participar do CC. Por fim, a atitude quanto ao consumo colaborativo teve efeito positivo sobre a intenção comportamental da participação do CC. |
