This paper analyzes the conflicts that arose in the mining works between diamond's miners in the region of Diamantina, Minas Gerais, in the decades of 1850-1880. The aim is investigate the role played by Justice in the solution of these conflicts. It is demonstrates that the diamond's miners did not hesitate in to appeal for Justice when were involved in questions about propriety and exploration of mines or about the division of the mining product. The sources used were documents of the General Administration of Diamond Lands and actions of arbitrage existent in Diamantina's registries.
