Basic information

Journal of Venomous Animals and Toxins including Tropical Diseases (JVATiTD) is an open access interdisciplinary publication, dedicated to publish research on all aspects of toxins, venomous animals and their derivative products. Also publishes a broad range of papers covering topics in tropical medicine with a focus on infectious diseases, parasitology, immunology and animal science, especially zoonoses. This digital journal publishes only in English language and in a continuous publication model, with one issue per year.

Its abbreviated title is J. venom. anim. toxins incl. trop. dis, and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.



Article-processing charges

JVATiTD levies an article-processing charge (APCs) of USD 500 (american dollar) for each article accepted for publication, plus bank charges and local taxes where applicable. Authors residing and working in Brazil will have a special discount to encourage publication in our Journal. Thus, Brazilians will pay only R$ 1.200,00 per published article.
