Motriz is a Scientific Journal launched in 1995, which is published quarterly by the Department of Physical Education, Institute of Biosciences, São Paulo State University, at Rio Claro, State of São Paulo, Brazil. Since 2016, Motriz has published articles exclusively in electronic format using ScholarOne submission system and English-only manuscripts are accepted.

Scope

Motriz was designed to disseminate the knowledge of exercise science that is relevant to all researchers and professional involving either basic or applied researches. Motriz encourages manuscript submissions from different field in exercise science including sports training, adaptative sports, sports psychology, biomechanics and neural control of movement, physical activity and health,sports coaching,and adventure sports and leisure.
Motriz uses the "Open Access" policy, allowing free-of-charge and unrestricted access to its contents. Online-only submission is required, and, after successful registration in the Journal’s website, it is the author’s responsibility to update documents and personal information.
