PAVANELLI, Gilberto Cezar  and  SANTOS, Marion Haruko Machado dos. Cangatiella arandasi, gen.n.sp.n. (Cestoda - Proteocephalidae), parasito de Parauchenipterus galeatus (Siluriformes - Auchenipteridae) do rio Paraná, PR. Rev. Bras. Zool. [online]. 1990, vol.7, n.4, pp.531-534. ISSN 0101-8175.

The authors describe Cangatiella arandasi, gen. n. sp. n., parasite of "cangati", Parauchenipterus galeatus. The genus is characterized by the vitellaria situated between the excretory ducts, and strobila with a median longitudinal furrow which, together with transversal furrows, suggest ducts system. That is the first reference of Proteocephalid in this host.
