Resumen Brosimum alicastrum Swarts. (conocido localmente como ramón) es una especie del bosque tropical con importancia para el sector alimentario; por tanto, estudiar sus características fisio-técnicas es fundamental. Se determinó la proporción de sexos en tres poblaciones adultas del estado de Yucatán, México. La primera plantación comprendió un total de 312 individuos, 208 machos y 104 hembras; el segundo, 45 árboles masculinos y 29 femeninos (74 árboles) y el tercero, 41 machos y 29 hembras (70 árboles). En promedio, 64% de los árboles eran machos y 34% hembras. En una plantación separada (50 árboles) establecida ad hoc, 30% de los árboles comenzaron a producir flores 7 años después del trasplante, 38% lo hicieron después de 8 años, 28% a los nueve años y 4% a los 10 años, 33 (66%) de los árboles eran machos y 17 (34%) hembras. El experimento comprendió de 2009 a 2019 y no se registraron cambios de sexo durante este tiempo. La producción media de semillas de árboles adultos fue de 145.6 kg árbol-1 año-1. Se realizó un experimento paralelo para dar seguimiento a la retención de hojas, éstas permanecieron en la copa durante más de 40 meses (1 217 días). Adicionalmente se midió el contenido de reguladores del crecimiento vegetal que podrían usarse como marcadores moleculares para seleccionar hembras. Los árboles hembras mostraron mayor contenido de ácido giberélico y citocininas que los árboles machos. La diferencia en el contenido de citocininas entre ambos sexos alcanzó 500%. Se discute la relevancia de estos resultados para el establecimiento de plantaciones comerciales.

Abstract Brosimum alicastrum Swarts (known locally as ramón) is a tropical forest species with importance for the food sector; therefore, studying its physio-technical characteristics is essential. The sex ratio was determined in three adult populations of the state of Yucatán, Mexico. The first plantation comprised a total of 312 individuals, 208 males and 104 females; the second, 45 male and 29 female trees (74 trees) and the third, 41 males and 29 females (70 trees). On average, 64% of the trees were male and 34% female. In a separate plantation (50 trees) established ad hoc, 30% of the trees began to produce flowers 7 years after transplantation, 38% did so after 8 years, 28% at nine years and 4% at 10 years, 33 (66%) of the trees were males and 17 (34%) females. The experiment lasted from 2009 to 2019 and no sex changes were recorded during this time. The average seed production of adult trees was 145.6 kg tree-1 year-1. A parallel experiment was conducted to monitor retention of leaves, they remained in the crown for more than 40 months (1 217 days). Additionally, the content of plant growth regulators that could be used as molecular markers to select females was measured. Female trees showed higher content of gibberellic acid and cytokinins than male trees. The difference in cytokinin content between the sexes reached 500%. The relevance of these results for the establishment of commercial plantations is discussed.

Resumen Se presenta un estudio teórico sobre el comportamiento estático y dinámico no lineal de tres edificaciones de concreto reforzado con un sistema estructural a base de marcos resistentes a momento. Las edificaciones cuentan con 3, 9 y 14 niveles. El diseño de cada una se hizo con las disposiciones de la nueva versión de las Normas Técnicas Complementarias para Diseño y Construcción de Estructuras de Concreto (NTCC, 2017) para diseño de estructuras con ductilidad baja (Q=2), media (Q=3) y alta (Q=4). Los diseños se revisaron con análisis no lineales con los diagramas momento-rotación presentados en las NTCC (2017) además de tomar en cuenta el deterioro en los elementos estructurales debido a la repetición de cargas en un evento sísmico. De los resultados de esta investigación se concluye que las estructuras diseñadas con las NTCC (2017) se desempeñan teóricamente con la ductilidad y capacidad para las cuales fueron diseñadas. La información obtenida analíticamente se verificó con ensayes experimentales.

Abstract An analytical study is carried out on the static and dynamic nonlinear behavior of three reinforced concrete buildings with moment-resisting frames. The buildings have 3, 9 and 14 levels and were designed according to requirements of the new version of Mexico’s City Code for Concrete Structures (NTCC, 2017). This Code includes special requirements for structures with low ductility (Q = 2), medium ductility (Q = 3) and high ductility (Q = 4). For the nonlinear analyzes and to check the behavior of the structures, the rotation moment diagrams presented in the NTCC (2017) were used, in addition to taking into account the deterioration in the structural elements due to the load repetitions in a seismic event. Data from this research is being verified by testing physical specimens.

Abstract Heteronyms are a poetic way to break with the modern myth of an indivisible and one self. The poetics of heteronymic dandyism finds in the multiplication of itself a poetry in democratic dialogue with the world, far removed from the hierarchical relationships that aim to judge right and wrong. ABSTRACT. Knowledge of the relationship between the equilibrium moisture content of the product and the air that involves it is essential to guarantee product quality and preserve its characteristics during storage. This trend can be studied by sorption isotherms. Thus, this study aimed to obtain desorption and adsorption isotherms of soybean grains to determine the mathematical model that best fits the experimental data and analyze the hysteresis phenomenon. Soybean grains with a moisture content of 21.95% (db) were used to verify the desorption process. The grains were dried until 3.50% (db) for the adsorption process. The static-gravimetric method was employed to determine the equilibrium moisture content of the grain at different temperatures (10, 20, 30, 40, and 50°C) and relative humidity levels (0.10 to 0.92%). Eight mathematical models were fitted to the experimental data. The modified Halsey model satisfactorily represented the desorption and adsorption phenomena of soybean grains. The equilibrium moisture content of soybean grains increased along with an increment in water activity. The increase in temperature led to a reduction in the equilibrium moisture content of soybean grains at a constant water activity. The equilibrium moisture content values obtained by desorption are higher than those obtained by adsorption, indicating the hysteresis phenomenon at the studied temperature range. The isotherms obtained for the desorption and adsorption process were classified as type III because of the high oil content in soybean grains.

ABSTRACT. This study aimed to evaluate the influence of vegetative canopy height on the agronomic characteristics and grape must and wine physicochemical properties of a ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’ vineyard in an espalier-trained system. The evaluated parameters comprised agronomic characteristics of ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’ grapevines and physicochemical compositions of ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’ musts and wines, as well as their phenolic compositions (anthocyanins, stilbenes, and flavonoids), and impact on wine contents of methoxypyrazines (volatile compounds that impart vegetal or earthy odors to wine, which are considered undesirable in large intensity). To that end, four heights of the vegetative canopy were tested: 60 cm (T1), 80 cm (T2), 100 cm (T3), and 120 cm (T4). The experiment was carried out in a commercial vineyard in the region of “Campanha Gaúcha” (Dom Pedrito, Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil) during the productive cycles of 2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18, and 2018/19. The main agronomic parameters were measured: estimated productivity per plant and hectare, and mean weight and number of clusters. All wines were elaborated by the same traditional winemaking methods. The physicochemical analyses of must and wines were performed by infrared spectroscopy using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR), and the phenolic analysis by high-efficiency liquid chromatography and UV-Vis spectrophotometry. Methoxypyrazines were quantified using headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME), followed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The results showed that treatments did not influence agronomic parameters. However, technological maturation (sugar accumulation) had interesting results for plants managed at higher canopy heights, with respective results obtained for wine. Treatments had little influence on individual quantification of anthocyanins, although cycles had a high influence on their profile. The wines had low concentrations of methoxypyrazines and did not differ among treatments.

Abstract The use of Wharton's Jelly (WJ) as a biomaterial is currently undergoing an appearance in the regenerative medicine field. The biomaterials applications focus on the aspects of cellular growth or delivery of proteins capable of stimulating cellular response. However, the basic knowledge about Wharton jelly and decellularization processing technology combined with understanding the physical-chemical properties of this biomaterial is necessary for proper application in regenerative medicine. This mini-review article summarizes information on the composition of WJ, application of drug delivery, in medicine and discusses recent developments with a special focus on its use for regenerative medicine. The most successful and stimulating applications are studies in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, for wound healing to treat burns, tumor treatment, nanoparticle carriers, and drug delivery systems.

Abstract This article aims to propose a new approach to the empirical testing of the pecking order theory that tackles commonly reported issues and apply it to the analysis of Brazilian companies. The main gaps bridged herein are the lack of clear definitions for safe debt and financial slack; the lack of control, in regressions, for the financing sources’ capabilities; and the failure to consider future investment opportunities in financing analyses. We adopt methods that enable controlling for the information the companies have about each financing source’s capabilities, at the time their financing decisions are made, while taking current and future investment opportunities into account. The proposed methodology offers a rather controlled environment to test the pecking order theory, which can be adapted to study other topics in finance, supporting advances in understanding the raising and allocation of funds by listed companies. Four integrated financing and cash holding policies are defined, which lead to different expected internal deficits (or surpluses). The relationships between these deficits (or surpluses), at different levels, and the flows that are observed at the external sources of funds are analyzed in cross-section and panel data quantile regressions, controlling for each source’s capabilities, in unbalanced data panels with 4,465 observations of 223 companies. By studying the relationships between expected internal financing deficits (or surpluses) and the flows that are observed at the external sources of funds, we contribute with a new capital structure testing methodology, and we find strong evidence that Brazilian listed companies follow the pecking order theory.

Resumo O objetivo deste artigo é propor uma nova abordagem para teste empírico da teoria de pecking order que lide com problemas comumente reportados e aplicá-la à análise de empresas brasileiras. As principais lacunas preenchidas são a falta de definições claras para dívida segura e folga financeira; a falta de controle, nas regressões, pelas capacidades das fontes de recursos; e a não consideração das oportunidades futuras de investimento em análises de financiamento. Disponibilizam-se métodos que oferecem controles em relação às informações que as empresas possuem acerca das capacidades de cada fonte de recursos, quando das decisões de financiamento e que levam em consideração as oportunidades de investimento atuais e futuras. A metodologia proposta oferece um ambiente mais controlado para o teste da teoria de pecking order, que pode ser adaptado para estudar outros tópicos em finanças, apoiando avanços na compreensão da captação e uso de recursos por parte de empresas de capital aberto. São definidas quatro políticas integradas de financiamento e cash holdings, que levam a diferentes déficits (ou superávits) internos esperados. As relações entre esses déficits (ou superávits), em diferentes níveis, e os fluxos de recursos observados nas fontes externas são analisadas em regressões quantílicas cross-section e em painel, controlando pelas capacidades de cada fonte, em painéis de dados desbalanceados com 4.465 observações de 223 empresas. Por meio do estudo das relações entre os déficits (ou superávits) de financiamento interno esperados e os fluxos observados nas fontes externas de recursos, contribuímos com uma nova metodologia de testes de estrutura de capital e encontramos fortes evidências de que as empresas brasileiras de capital aberto seguem a teoria de pecking order.

Padrões de Lineamentos e Controle Estrutural, Tectônico e Neotectônico no Relevo da Região de Pancas (Espírito Santo, Sudeste do Brasil)

Abstract The main objective of this research is to investigate the lithostructural, tectonic, and neotectonic control on the relief of the Pancas region (Espírito Santo, Southeastern Brazil). The methodology was organized into computer and field analyses. In a computer, lineament and structural trend maps were generated from the manual extraction technique using editing tools of ArcGIS 10.3.1™ software (ESRI, 2012) over a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) with different artificial illumination (scale 1:110.000) and orientation rosettes were generated. The geological and geomorphological maps were organized/elaborated with ArcGIS from the Geographic Information System (GIS). The cartographic bases were configured in the UTM projection system, and DATUM SIRGAS 2000, zone 24S, and later analyzed and compared with the data of the orientations of the dedicated lineaments, with the orientation of the studied outcrop failures and with the existing literature. The results presented NW-SE/NNW-SSE and NE-SW/NNE-SSW orientations, with the predominance of NNW-SSE and NW-SE orientations identified in the analysis of the lineaments and structural trends, similar to the orientations of the geological faults and neotectonic faults present in the studied area, reflecting the regional structuring of the area, presenting the same orientations as the Colatina Belt. The secondary orientations of the Araçuaí Orogen (NE-SW), the identification of morphotectonic features, the presence of abrupt topographic differences (topographic profiles), and the identification of tectonic regions (base surface map) and tectonic blocks (scanning profile) demonstrate the tectonic control in the relief of the Pancas-ES region, achieving the objective of this research.

Resumo Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo principal investigar o controle litoestrutural, tectônico e neotectônico no relevo da região de Pancas (Espírito Santo, Sudeste do Brasil). A metodologia foi organizada em análises de gabinete e de campo. Em gabinete foram gerados mapas de lineamentos e de trends estruturais, a partir da técnica de extração manual, utilizando ferramentas de edição do software ArcGIS 10.3.1™ (ESRI, 2012), sobre um Modelo Digital de Elevação (MDE) com diferentes iluminações artificiais (escala 1:110.000) e geradas rosetas de orientação. Os mapas geológicos e geomorfológicos foram organizados/elaborados com o ArcGIS, a partir do Sistema de Informações Geográficas (SIG) e as bases cartográficas foram configuradas no sistema de projeção UTM e DATUM SIRGAS 2000, zona 24S, posteriormente analisados e comparados com os dados das orientações dos lineamentos decalcados, com a orientação das falhas de afloramentos estudados e com a literatura existente. Os resultados apresentaram orientações NW-SE/NNW-SSE e NE-SW/NNE-SSW, com a predominância das orientações NNW-SSE e NW-SE identificadas na análise dos lineamentos e dos trends estruturais, semelhantes com as orientações das falhas geológicas e das falhas neotectônicas presentes na área estudada, refletindo a estruturação regional da área, apresentando as mesmas orientações da Faixa Colatina. As orientações secundárias do Orógeno Araçuaí (NE-SW), a identificação de feições morfotectônicas, a presença de diferenças topográficas abruptas (perfis topográficos), a identificação de regiões tectônicas (mapa de superfície de bases) e de blocos tectônicos (perfil em varredura) demonstram o controle tectônico no relevo da região de Pancas-ES, atingindo o objetivo desta pesquisa.

ABSTRACT The present article is devoted to examining the relations between subject and truth as mediated by pedagogical technologies of governing the self. In the wake of such a horizon and adopting the archival gesture and the Foucauldian critical attitude as an analytical leitmotif, we initially outline some historical-discursive features of the conformation of records of didactic actions in the educational sphere. Then, taking the notion of alethurgy as a common thread — developed by Foucault in the course On the government of the living — and from the analysis of reports of didactic experiences of a particular pedagogy of the present, we seek to support the idea that the teachers affiliated to this pedagogy are linked to a an alethurgic form, becoming governable precisely by virtue of this commitment to truth, legitimating it in and of itself.

RESUMEN El presente artículo está dedicado a examinar las relaciones entre el sujeto y la verdad, mediadas por las tecnologías pedagógicas de gobierno del yo. En la estela de tal horizonte y adoptando el gesto archivístico y la actitud crítica foucaultiana como leitmotiv analítico, esbozamos inicialmente algunos rasgos histórico-discursivos de la conformación de registros de acciones didácticas en el ámbito educativo. A continuación, tomando como hilo conductor la noción de aleturgia – desarrollada por Foucault en el curso El gobierno de los vivos – y a partir del análisis de los relatos de experiencias didácticas de una particular pedagogía del presente, buscamos sostener la idea de que los profesores afiliados a la pedagogía en cuestión están vinculados a una forma aletúrgica, volviéndose gobernables precisamente en virtud de este compromiso con la verdad, legitimándola en sí mismos y por sí mismos.

RESUMO O presente artigo devota-se a examinar as relações entre sujeito e verdade mediadas por tecnologias pedagógicas de governo do eu. Na esteira de tal horizonte e adotando o gesto arquivístico e a atitude crítica foucaultiana como leitmotiv analítico, delineiam-se inicialmente alguns traços histórico-discursivos da constituição de registros das ações didáticas na esfera educacional. Em seguida, tomando como fio condutor a noção de aleturgia — desenvolvida por Foucault no curso Do governo dos vivos — e a partir da analítica de relatos de experiências didáticas de uma pedagogia do presente em particular, busca-se sustentar a ideia de que os sujeitos docentes afiliados à pedagogia em pauta estão vinculados a uma forma aletúrgica, tornando-se governáveis precisamente em função desse engajamento com a verdade, legitimando-a em si mesmos e por si mesmos.

ABSTRACT Objective: To determine the clinical profile of COVID-19 inpatients who were vaccinated prior to hospitalization and to compare the risk factors for death and the 28-day survival rate of between those inpatients vaccinated with one, two, or three doses and unvaccinated COVID-19 inpatients. Methods: This was a retrospective observational cohort study involving COVID-19 patients admitted to a referral hospital in the city of Recife, Brazil, between July of 2020 and June of 2022. Results: The sample comprised 1,921 inpatients, 996 of whom (50.8%) were vaccinated prior to hospitalization. After adjusting the mortality risk for vaccinated patients, those undergoing invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV) had the highest mortality risk (adjusted OR [aOR] = 7.4; 95% CI, 3.8-14.1; p < 0.001), followed by patients > 80 years of age (aOR = 7.3; 95% CI, 3.4-15.4; p < 0.001), and those needing vasopressors (aOR = 5.6; 95% CI, 2.9-10.9; p < 0.001). After adjusting the mortality risk for all patients, having received three vaccine doses (aOR = 0.06; 95% CI, 0.03-0.11; p < 0.001) was the most important protective factor against death. There were progressive benefits of vaccination, reducing the frequency of ICU admissions, use for IMV, and death (respectively, from 44.9%, 39.0% and 39.9% after the first dose to 16.7%, 6.2% and 4.4% after the third dose), as well as significant improvements in survival after each subsequent dose (p < 0.001). Conclusions: Vaccines were effective in reducing illness severity and death in this cohort of COVID-19 inpatients, and the administration of additional doses conferred them with accumulative vaccine protection.

RESUMO Objetivo: Traçar o perfil clínico de pacientes internados com COVID-19 que haviam sido vacinados antes da hospitalização e comparar os fatores de risco para óbito e a taxa de sobrevida em 28 dias entre esses internados vacinados com uma, duas ou três doses e pacientes internados com COVID-19 não vacinados. Métodos: Estudo de coorte observacional retrospectivo envolvendo pacientes com COVID-19 internados em um hospital de referência na cidade do Recife (PE) entre julho de 2020 e junho de 2022. Resultados: A amostra foi composta por 1.921 pacientes internados, dos quais 996 (50,8%) haviam sido vacinados antes da hospitalização. Após ajuste do risco de mortalidade para os pacientes vacinados, aqueles submetidos à ventilação mecânica invasiva (VMI) apresentaram o maior risco de mortalidade (OR ajustada [ORa] = 7,4; IC95%: 3,8-14,1; p < 0,001), seguidos pelos pacientes > 80 anos (ORa = 7,3; IC95%: 3,4-15,4; p < 0,001) e aqueles que necessitam de vasopressores (ORa = 5,6; IC95%: 2,9-10,9; p < 0,001). Após ajuste do risco de mortalidade para todos os pacientes, o recebimento de três doses de vacina (ORa = 0,06; IC95%: 0,03-0,11; p < 0,001) foi o fator de proteção mais importante contra o óbito. Houve benefícios progressivos da vacinação, com redução da frequência de internações em UTI, de uso de VMI e de óbitos (de 44,9%, 39,0% e 39,9% após a primeira dose para 16,7%, 6,2% e 4,4% após a terceira dose, respectivamente), bem como melhora significativa na sobrevida após cada dose subsequente (p < 0,001). Conclusões: As vacinas foram efetivas na redução da gravidade da doença e dos óbitos nesta coorte de pacientes internados com COVID-19, e a aplicação de doses adicionais conferiu-lhes proteção vacinal cumulativa.

Abstract Designing strategic areas for biodiversity protection should help prevent species extinction. However, these delimitations are rarely evaluated for their effectiveness. To determine whether the original design of the Strategic Areas for the Conservation and Restoration of Biodiversity in Paraná (AECR) adequately protected the species and identify the species most likely to become extinct in the region, we analyzed occurrence records for threatened flora in the state’s most degraded phytogeographic regions (Araucaria Forest, Cerrado, and grassland). We developed a list of threatened species for Paraná using herbarium records. We also compiled a threatened species occurrence list for the region by filtering through the herbarium records. Based on the main concepts defining threat status and gap species, we identified the species at an elevated risk of extinction in the study region. A total of 644 threatened species were detected in the regions studied, 86% of which have been recorded within the AECR, and 30% can be characterized as gap species. The species distribution polygons accounted for 98% of species within the AECR and 4% as gap species. A total of 54 species (8.38% of the total) are at a higher risk of extinction.

Resumo A concepção de áreas estratégicas para a proteção da biodiversidade deve ajudar a prevenir a extinção das espécies, porém, estas áreas raramente são avaliadas quanto à sua eficácia. Analisamos os registros de ocorrência de espécies ameaçadas da flora nas regiões fitogeográficas mais degradadas do Paraná (Floresta de Araucária, Cerrado e Campos) com o objetivo de determinar se o desenho original das Áreas Estratégicas para a Conservação e Restauração da Biodiversidade no Paraná (AECR) protegia adequadamente as espécies, bem como identificar as espécies com maior probabilidade de extinção na região. Compilamos uma lista de ocorrência de espécies ameaçadas para região por meio de filtragens nos registros de herbário. Comparamos registros individuais e polígonos de distribuição de espécies para determinar a relação entre as ocorrências de espécies e as AECR. Com base nos principais conceitos para determinação dos status de ameaça e de espécies lacunas, foram apontadas as espécies mais fragilizadas na região. Identificamos a presença de 644 espécies ameaçadas nas unidades fitogeográficas em estudo, das quais 86% possuem registro dentro das AECR e 30% podem ser caracterizadas como lacunas. Ao utilizar polígonos de distribuição verificamos variação, computando 98% dentro das AECR e apenas 4% como lacunas. Determinamos que 8.38% (54 spp) podem ser caracterizadas como as mais fragilizadas da região.

Abstract The present article focuses on examining the pedagogical technologies of governance of the self, carried out in a culturally oriented curriculum. Thus, the analysis is situated in the theoretical and methodological field of discourse studies, from a Foucauldian perspective, and its relation to the production of subjectivities. The analysis of the empirical material, which comprised 138 reports of pedagogical experiences linked to the cultural curriculum of physical education, allowed us to infer the occurrence of pedagogical technologies of governance of the self, which encourage participation in and reflection on the subjects of education in a way that, through a link between codes of behavior and a morality directed, in some dimension, to ethics, generate democratic and multicultural subjectivities.

Résumé Le présent article est consacré à l’examen des technologies pédagogiques de gouvernement de soi exécutées par un programme de cours culturellement orienté. Pour ce faire, l’analyse se situe dans le champ théorique et méthodologique des études du discours, dans une perspective foucaultienne, et de leur rapport dans la production des subjectivités. L’analyse du matériel empirique, qui comprenait 138 rapports d’expériences pédagogiques liées au programme culturel de l’éducation physique, nous a permis de déduire l’existence de technologies pédagogiques de gouvernement de soi qui encouragent la participation et la réflexion des sujets de l’éducation, de telle sorte que, à travers un lien entre des codes de conduite et une morale orientée, en quelque mesure, vers l’éthique, elles engendrent des subjectivités démocratiques et multiculturelles.

Resumen El presente artículo está dedicado a examinar las tecnologías pedagógicas del gobierno del yo llevadas a cabo por un plan de estudios culturalmente orientado. Para ello, el análisis se sitúa en el campo teórico y metodológico de los estudios del discurso, desde una perspectiva foucaultiana, y su relación en la producción de subjetividades. El análisis del material empírico, que comprendió 138 relatos de experiencias pedagógicas vinculadas al currículo cultural de educación física, permitió inferir la ocurrencia de tecnologías pedagógicas del gobierno del yo que incentivan a la participación y a la reflexión de los sujetos de la educación, de modo que, a través de un vínculo entre códigos de comportamiento y una moral dirigida, en alguna dimensión, a la ética, engendran subjetividades democráticas y multiculturales.

Resumo: Este artigo apresenta o estado da arte de uma plataforma de monitoramento de áreas verdes urbanas – UrbVerde – para municípios do Estado de São Paulo. Sua construção se baseia em Cloud Computing e sensoriamento remoto orbital. Objetiva-se prover métricas de monitoramento das desigualdades socioambientais a partir das escalas municipal e intraurbana, incluindo indicadores de vegetação, temperatura de superfície e sistemas de espaços livres (parques e praças), relacionando-os com dados populacionais agrupados por setores censitários. Constitui-se, assim, uma base de informações acompanháveis e de livre acesso com potencial de aplicação para a construção de políticas públicas, a exemplo do programa Município VerdeAzul. Por meio das ferramentas interativas de análise e correlação de dados, destaca-se o aspecto inter-relacional das variáveis geográficas envolvidas, representando um ganho de inteligência de governança. Além disso, a abordagem utilizada fornece novos olhares sobre a distribuição e a acessibilidade das infraestruturas verdes nos municípios, promovendo a sensibilização dos gestores e uma maior inclusão da população nos processos de tomada de decisão. Deste modo, espera-se, com o apoio de uma tecnologia disruptiva, estimular conjuntamente o processo de suporte à decisão para a retomada verde na Década da Restauração de Ecossistemas (2021-2030), viabilizando o processo de transformação dos municípios em cidades inteligentes e sustentáveis.

Abstract: This article presents the state of the art of a monitoring platorm for urban green areas – UrbVerde – in the municipalites of the São Paulo State. Its constructon is based on Cloud Computing and orbital remote sensing. The objective is to provide metrics for monitoring socio-environmental inequalites from a local and intraurban scale, including vegetaton indexes, surface temperature, and open space systems (parks and squares), relating them to population aspects grouped by censitary sectors. It, thus, constitutes a trackable information base with potential for the implementaton of public policies, such as the Municípios VerdeAzul program. Through interactive data analysis and correlaton tools, the inter-relatonal aspect of the involved geographic variables is highlighted, representing a gain of governance intelligence. In additon, the approach in use provides new insights into the distribution and accessibility of municipalites’ green infrastructure, promoting awareness among managers and greater inclusion of the population in decision-making processes. In this way, it is expected, with the support of disruptive technology, to jointily stimulate the processes of decision support for green recovery in the Decade of Ecosystem Restoraton (2021-2030), enabling the process of transforming the municipalites into smart and sustainable cites.

Resumen: Este articulo presenta el estado del arte de la plataforma de monitoreo de áreas verdes urbanas – UrbVerde – para municipios del Estado de São Paulo. Su construcción se basa en Cloud Computing y teledetección orbital. El objetivo es proporcionar métricas para el seguimiento de las desigualdades socioambientales desde las escalas municipal e intraurbana, incluyendo indicadores de la vegetación, la temperatura superficial y el sistema de espacios abiertos (parques y plazas), relacionándolos con los datos de población agrupados por sectores censales. Se constituye, así, una base de informaciones rastreables y de libre acceso con potencial de aplicación en la construcción de políticas públicas, como el programa Municipio VerdeAzul. A través de las herramientas interactivas de análisis y correlación de datos, se resalta el aspecto interrelacional de las variables geográficas involucradas, lo que representa un incremento en inteligencia de gobernanza. Además, el enfoque utilizado proporciona nuevos conocimientos sobre la distribución y accesibilidad de la infraestructura verde en los municipios, promoviendo la concienciación entre los administradores y una mayor inclusión de la población en los procesos de toma de decisiones. De esta forma, se espera, con el apoyo de una tecnología disruptiva, estimular de manera conjunta el proceso de soporte a las decisiones para la recuperación verde en la Década de Restauración de Ecosistemas (2021-2030), viabilizando el proceso de transformación de los municipios en ciudades inteligentes y sustentables.

Abstract The Brazilian Practice Guidelines for Stroke Rehabilitation – Part II, developed by the Scientific Department of Neurological Rehabilitation of the Brazilian Academy of Neurology (Academia Brasileira de Neurologia, in Portuguese), focuses on specific rehabilitation techniques to aid recovery from impairment and disability after stroke. As in Part I, Part II is also based on recently available evidence from randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and other guidelines. Part II covers disorders of communication, dysphagia, postural control and balance, ataxias, spasticity, upper limb rehabilitation, gait, cognition, unilateral spatial neglect, sensory impairments, home rehabilitation, medication adherence, palliative care, cerebrovascular events related to severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection, the future of stroke rehabilitation, and stroke websites to support patients and caregivers. Our goal is to provide health professionals with more recent knowledge and recommendations for better rehabilitation care after stroke.

Resumo As Diretrizes Brasileiras de Reabilitação do Acidente Vascular Cerebral (AVC) - Parte II, desenvolvida pelo Departamento Científico de Reabilitação Neurológica da Academia Brasileira de Neurologia é voltada para intervenções específicas de técnicas de reabilitação de déficits neurológicos e incapacidades. Seguindo o mesmo modelo da Parte I, a Parte II também se baseia em estudos randomizados, revisões sistemáticas, metanálises e outras diretrizes sobre o mesmo tema. A segunda parte aborda os distúrbios da comunicação, disfagia, controle postural e equilíbrio, ataxias, espasticidade, reabilitação do membro superior, marcha, cognição, negligência espacial unilateral, déficits sensoriais, reabilitação domiciliar, aderênciaao usode medicamentos, cuidados paliativos,ofuturodareabilitação no AVC, e websites de orientação sobre AVC para pacientes e cuidadores. Nosso objetivo é fornecer aos profissionais envolvidos na reabilitação conhecimento atualizado e recomendações para um melhor cuidado no pós-AVC.
