Abstract In order to explore the effect of different the welding heat input on microstructure and impact properties in coarse grain zone in heat affected zone (CGHAZ) of ultra-low carbon bainitic steel welded joint. In this paper, Gleeble-3500 thermal simulation testing machine was used to simulate different heat input, to study the effect of linear energy on the microstructure and impact toughness of the CGHAZ of Q420qEN steel joint. The scanning electron microscope (SEM), oscillographic impact microscope and transmission electron microscope (TEM) were used. The results show that the microstructure of CGHAZ is mainly the lath bainite and granular bainite. When the welding heat input is 30kJ•cm-1, the CGHAZ grains have obvious growth phenomenon. With the increase of the welding heat input, the grain size also grows. Meanwhile, as the welding heat input increases from 18kJ•cm-1 to 30kJ•cm-1, the impact toughness of the CGHAZ of joint increases first and then decreases at -20°C.

Abstract Objective To explore the molecular mechanism of neuropathologic damage induced by radiofrequency ablation at different temperatures. Methods This is basic research, and 36 SD rats were used to construct the neuropathological injury model. The rats were subjected to radiofrequency stimulation at different temperatures and were divided into 6 groups according to the temperature injury: 42°, 47°, 52°, 57°, 62°, and 67°C groups. Conduction time, conduction distance, and nerve conduction velocity were recorded after temperature injury. HE-staining was used to observe the histopathological morphology of the sciatic nerve. The expression of SCN9A, SCN3B, and NFASC protein in sciatic nerve tissue were detected by western blot. Results With the increase in temperature, nerve conduction velocity gradually decreased, and neurons were damaged when the temperature was 67°C. HE-staining showed that the degrees of degeneration of neurons in rats at 47°, 52°, 57°, 62°, and 67°C were gradually increased. The expression of SCN9A, SCN3B protein in 57°, 62°, 67°C groups were much higher than that of NC, 42°, 47°, 52°C groups. However, the expression of NFASC protein in 57°, 62°, 67°C groups was much lower than that of the NC, 42°, 47°, 52°C groups. Conclusion There was a positive correlation between temperature caused by the radiofrequency stimulation to neuropathological damage. The mechanism is closely related to the expression of SCN9A, SCN3B, and NFASC protein in nerve tissue caused by heat transfer injury.

Abstract In order to realize the rapid nondestructive detection of mildew peanut in the process of peanuts storage, hyperspectral imaging technology was proposed to detect mildew peanut. A total of 200 peanuts were selected from 5 kinds of peanuts purchased in the market for moldy treatment, and the remaining 400 peanuts were kept sterile. After completion, samples were collected with a hyperspectral instrument to obtain spectral data of the samples. According to the characteristics of the data, 10 pre-processing algorithms were used to de-noise the data, and Median Filtering (MF) had the best effect, with the recognition accuracy reaching 97.7%. GBDT, LightGBM, CatBoost and XGBoost algorithms were used to extract important feature bands in the spectral data pre-processed by MF. GBDT, LightGBM, CatBoost and XGBoost algorithms were used to model the extracted feature bands. The results showed that LightGBM is the best algorithm with a detection rate of 99.10%. Optuna algorithm was used to tune its parameters. Compared with the previous model, the running time of the optimized model was improved by about 0.25 s. The results showed that hyperspectral imaging provides an efficient and nondestructive method for detecting mildew in peanut storage.

Although metastasis is the major cause of death in cervical cancer, the mechanism of metastasis is still unclear. The mRNA expression and protein level of latent transforming growth factor beta binding protein 1 (LTBP1) were detected in tumor tissues and paracancerous tissues from in-house samples. Cell proliferation, cell cycle, migration, and in vivo metastasis were determined after LTBP1 was knocked down. Then, 13 drugs were screened, and the changes in cell apoptosis and proliferation and tumor metastasis were detected after drug treatment in shRNA cells. In our in-house samples, LTBP1 was lowly expressed in cervical cancer tissues. After LTBP1 knockdown, cell proliferation was increased, and the ability of in vitro migration and in vivo metastasis was enhanced. At the same time, the proportion of myeloid derived suppressor cells (MDSC) in situ increased, the proportion of T cells decreased, and transforming growth factor beta-1 (TGFβ1) signaling was activated. After carboplatin treatment, LTBP1 shRNA cell line apoptosis increased, metastasis in vivo was limited, and the proportion of MDSC in situ decreased. LTBP1 was lowly expressed in cervical cancer, and the inhibition of LTBP1 can improve the malignant degree of the tumor, and this process can be blocked by carboplatin.

RESUMEN Estudiar la estabilidad del soporte de un frente de explotación carbonífero bajo las condiciones de un ángulo de inmersión grande (LDA) y una explotación minera alta (LMH) es esencial para garantizar la seguridad y la alta eficiencia minera. Este estudio se basa en el frente de trabajo número #3up509 de la Mina de Carbón Gaozhuang (GCM) afiliada al área minera de Zaozhuang. Los autores analizaron las características mecánicas de apoyo en un frente de trabajo que cumple con las condiciones LDA y LMH. Con esta base se desarrollaron los modelos mecánicos que permitan al apoyo deslizarse e inclinarse en el área del frente de trabajo. Luego, se analizó la estabilidad del apoyo en el rumbo del frente de trabajo durante un periodo normal de explotación (NMP) y en un período especial de explotación (SMP). Los resultados muestran que la resistencia crítica de la inclinación del apoyo durante el período NMP es de 52.2 kN, y la resistencia crítica del deslizamiento es de 183.75 kN. Y para el período SMP, los valores son 229,7 kN y 4425 kN. Además, se investigó el uso de un apoyo de escudo con dos pies, conocido como ZY6600-25.5/55 (su capacidad de resistencia está calculada en 6600 kN), que funciona bien en los frentes de trabajo. Finalmente se tomaron algunas medidas técnicas como instalar un enclavamiento para amarrar un apoyo y un gato de elevación, lo que incrementa la capacidad de carga del apoyo y optimiza el método de desplazamiento del apoyo, para mejorar la estabilidad general del apoyo en el frente de trabajo carbonífero. El objetivo inicial de seguridad y alta eficiencia minera para el frente de trabajo carbonífero #3 509 se alcanzó con estas medidas.

ABSTRACT Studying the support stability of a coalface with a large dip angle (LDA) and large mining height (LMH) under the corresponding conditions is essential to ensure safe and high-efficiency mining. This study is based on the #3up509 coalface of the Gaozhuang Coal Mine (GCM) affiliated with the Zaozhuang Mining Area. The authors analyzed the mechanical characteristics of support in the coalface with LDA and LMH. On this basis, the mechanical models for support tilting and sliding in the coalface were developed. Then, support stability along the coalface’s strike during the normal mining period (NMP) and special mining period (SMP) was analyzed. The results show that the critical support tilting resistance during the NMP is 52.2 kN, and the critical support sliding resistance is 183.75 kN. And for the SMP, the values are 229.7 kN and 4425 kN. The use of two-leg shield support, known as ZY6600-25.5/55 (its rated working resistance is 6600 kN), is investigated, which is proved reasonable for the coalface. Finally, some technical measures, such as installing an interlock set to fasten support and adjustable lifting jack, increasing the setting load of the support, and optimizing the support displacement method, are taken to improve the coalface’s overall support stability. The initial aim for safe and high-efficiency mining of the #3up509 coalface has been achieved through these measures.

Abstract To improve the crashworthiness and energy absorption of thin-walled tube structures, a bionic thin-walled tube was designed based on the structural characteristics of antler osteon and the principle of structural bionics and had the same inner and outer diameters and the same gradient thickness as antler osteon. A nonlinear finite element method is used to simulate the crashworthiness of a thin-walled tube with equal gradient thickness variation (EGTTS) under axial and oblique loads. The crashworthiness of EGTTS-7 (Egtts with 7 layers) was evaluated using the complex proportional assessment(COPRAS). A multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO) algorithm was used to optimize the EGTTS-7 and the Pareto boundary was used to obtain the optimal structure parameters of the EGTTS-7 by using the loading angles of 0°, 10°, 20°, and 30°. It is found that the crashworthiness of the EGTTS is best when the axial load weight factor of the case is large. Compared with EGTTS and circular tubes(CT), F max can be reduced by up to 50.1% and EA can be increased by up to 22.7%.

ABSTRACT The whole mitochondrial genome of Lateolabrax maculatus (Cuvier, 1828) was used to investigate the reasons for the observed patterns of genetic differentiation among 12 populations in northern and southern China. The haplotype diversity and nucleotide diversity of L. maculatus were 0.998 and 0.00169, respectively. Pairwise FST values between populations ranged from 0.001 to 0.429, correlating positively with geographic distance. Genetic structure analysis and haplotype network analysis indicated that these populations were split into two groups, in agreement with geographic segregation and environment. Tajima’s D values, Fu’s Fs tests and Bayesian skyline plot (BSP) indicated that a demographic expansion event may have occurred in the history of L. maculatus. Through selection pressure analysis, we found evidence of significant negative selection at the ATP6, ND3, Cytb, COX3, COX2 and COX1 genes. In our hypotheses, this study implied that demographic events and selection of local environmental conditions, including temperature, are responsible for population divergence. These findings are a step forward toward the understanding of the genetic basis of differentiation and adaptation, as well as conservation of L. maculatus.

The present study aimed to investigate the in vivo inhibitory effect of histone deacetylase inhibitor suberoylanilide hydroxamic acid (SAHA) combined with sorafenib on human hepatocellular carcinoma HCCLM3 cells. The nude mice transplanted with HCCLM3 cells were randomly divided into control, SAHA, sorafenib and SAHA+sorafenib groups. The nude mice in the later 3 groups were intragastrically administrated with SAHA (10 mg·kg-1·day-1), sorafenib (10 mg·kg-1·day-1) and SAHA (10 mg·kg-1·day-1) combined with sorafenib (10 mg·kg-1·day-1), respectively, for successive 20 days. Finally, the inhibition rate of tumor was measured. The expressions of MEK1/2, p-ERK1/2, Cyclin D1, Bcl-2, Bax, p53, MMP-2, MMP-9 and uPA in tumor tissues were determined. Results showed that, compared with SAHA and Sorafenib groups, in SAHA+sorafenib groups the inhibition rate of tumor was significantly increased (P < 0.05), the expression levels of MEK1/2, p-ERK1/2, Cyclin D1, Bcl-2, MMP-2 and MMP-9 and uPA protein in tumor tissues were significantly decreased, respectively (P < 0.05), and the expression levels of Bax and p53 protein were significantly increased, respectively (P < 0.05). In conclusion, compared with single drug, SAHA combined with sorafenib can enhance the inhibitory effects on HCCLM3 xenografts in nude mice.

Different activated carbons and manganese-modified activated carbons were prepared as deoxidizers for the low-concentration coalbed methane deoxidation. The results show that the deoxidation performance of the different activated carbons is affected by raw materials for preparation of deoxidizers. One type of activated carbon exhibited the best performance of oxygen removal, due to the relatively low ash content and better adsorption performance. Experimental results show that the manganese-modified deoxidizers exhibit an excellent deoxidation efficiency at low temperature. At 200 ºC, one kind of manganese-modified activated carbons decreased the oxygen content to less than 1 vol%, which could maintain about 600 min. This indicated that the addition of manganese greatly improved the reactivity of oxygen with activated carbon. Characterization results demonstrated that the physical structure and species types of oxygen of activated carbons, and manganese have important effects on the activity of deoxidizers in different temperature ranges.

A series of carbon nanotube (CNTs)-supported copper-cobalt catalysts were prepared and investigated in a slurry reactor for their ability to selectively convert syngas into higher carbon number alcohols. The 7.5Cu7.5Co/CNTs catalyst achieved superior selectivity towards the formation of ethanol (30.1%) and C2+ alcohols (57.7%), while the 10Co5Cu/CNTs catalyst exhibited the largest alcohol space-time yield (372.9 mg gcat -1 h-1). However, the pure Cu (15Cu/CNTs) catalyst displayed negligible activity. Cobalt reduction was enhanced in the presence of copper. In addition to the Cu0-Co0 center, Co0-Co2+ also presented dual active sites for higher alcohols synthesis, the Co2+ site could terminate carbon chain growth to produce alcohols. The ratio of Cu/Co considerably influences the metal particle properties-synergistically effecting the active species.

Resumo Fundamentos: O modelo de hipertrofia cardíaca (HC) para ratos foi amplamente utilizado, proporcionando assim uma base de pesquisa efetiva para a exploração de HC. Objetivo: pesquisar os efeitos do modelamento de HC sob constrição da aorta abdominal (CAA) usando diferentes agulhas e pesos em ratos. Métodos: foram utilizadas quatro agulhas com diâmetros externos diferentes (0,35, 0,40, 0,45 e 0,50 mm) para CAA. Foram selecionados 150 ratos C57BL / 6 machos de acordo com o peso corporal (PC) e divididos em 3 níveis de peso: 18 g, 22 g e 26g (n = 50 em cada grupo). Todos os níveis de peso foram divididos em 5 grupos: um grupo sham (n = 10) e 4 grupos CAA usando 4 intensidades de ligadura (n = 10 por grupo). Após a cirurgia, foram registradas as taxas de sobrevivência, foi realizada ecocardiografia, os corações foram dissecados e utilizados para detecção histológica, e os dados foram analisados estatisticamente, p < 0,05 foi considerado estatisticamente significante. Resultados: Todos os ratos morreram nos seguintes grupos de CAA: 18 g/0,35 mm, 22 g/0,35 mm, 26 g/0,35 mm, 22 g/0,40 mm e 26 g/0,40 mm. Todos os ratos com CAA, aqueles ligados com uma agulha de 0,50 mm, e aqueles que sofreram operação sham sobreviveram. Ocorreram diferentes taxas de mortalidade nos seguintes grupos de CAA: 18 g/0,40 mm, 18 g/0,45 mm, 18 g/0,50 mm, 22 g/45 mm, 22 g/0,50 mm, 26 g/0,45 mm e 26 g/0,50 mm. As proporções de peso do coração/peso corporal (5,39 ± 0,85, 6,41 ± 0,68, 4,67 ± 0,37, 5,22 ± 0,42, 4,23 ± 0,28, 5,41 ± 0,14 e 4,02 ± 0,13) aumentaram significativamente em comparação com os grupos sham para ratos com os mesmos níveis de peso. Conclusão: uma agulha de 0,45mm levou a HC mais óbvia do que as agulhas de 0,40 mm e 0,50mm e causou HC extraordinária em ratos de 18 g.

Abstract Background: The cardiac hypertrophy (CH) model for mice has been widely used, thereby providing an effective research foundation for CH exploration. Objective: To research the effects of CH modeling under abdominal aortic constriction (AAC) using different needles and weights in mice. Methods: Four needles with different external diameters (0.35, 0.40, 0.45, and 0.50 mm) were used for AAC. 150 male C57BL/6 mice were selected according to body weight (BW) and divided into 3 weight levels: 18 g, 22 g, and 26 g (n = 50 in each group). All weight levels were divided into 5 groups: a sham group (n = 10) and 4 AAC groups using 4 ligation intensities (n = 10 per group). After surgery, survival rates were recorded, echocardiography was performed, hearts were dissected and used for histological detection, and data were statistically analyzed, P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: All mice died in the following AAC groups: 18g/0.35 mm, 22 g/0.35 mm, 26 g/0.35 mm, 22 g/0.40 mm, and 26 g/0.40 mm. All mice with AAC, those ligated with a 0.50-mm needle, and those that underwent sham operation survived. Different death rates occurred in the following AAC groups: 18 g/0.40 mm, 18 g/0.45 mm, 18 g/0.50 mm, 22 g/45 mm, 22 g/0.50 mm, 26 g/0.45 mm, and 26 g/0.50 mm. The heart weight/body weight ratios (5.39 ± 0.85, 6.41 ± 0.68, 4.67 ± 0.37, 5.22 ± 0.42, 4.23 ± 0.28, 5.41 ± 0.14, and 4.02 ± 0.13) were significantly increased compared with those of the sham groups for mice with the same weight levels. Conclusion: A 0.45-mm needle led to more obvious CH than did 0.40-mm and 0.50-mm needles and caused extraordinary CH in 18-g mice.

The microstructure in the Z-Y surface of Inconel 718 alloys fabricated by selective laser melting (SLM) shows the relatively homogeneous and irregular fine grain structure after the heat treatment process of 1050ºC solid solution + double ageing. A large number of bulk precipitates were observed on the grain boundary, and the typical dendritic crystallization and Laves phases disappeared. It is possible that a large number of δ phases (NbNi3) were precipitated on the grain boundary since the enrichment effect of element Nb. The hardness in the Z-Y surface increased from 350HV to 500HV, and the residual stress was transformed from the tensile stress to compressive stress.

Abstract Realgar is a naturally occurring arsenic sulfide (or Xionghuang, in Chinese). It contains over 90% tetra-arsenic tetrasulfide (As4S4). Currently, realgar has been confirmed the antitumor activities, both in vitro and in vivo, of realgar extracted using Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans (A. ferrooxidans). Bioleaching, a new technology to greatly improve the use rate of arsenic extraction from realgar using bacteria, is a novel methodology that addressed a limitation of the traditional method for realgar preparation. The present systematic review reports on the research progress in realgar bioleaching and its antitumor mechanism as an anticancer agent. A total of 93 research articles that report on the biological activity of extracts from realgar using bacteria and its preparation were presented in this review. The realgar bioleaching solution (RBS) works by inducing apoptosis when it is used to treat tumor cells in vitro and in vivo. When it is used to treat animal model organisms in vivo, such as mice and Caenorhabditis elegans, tumor tissues grew more slowly, with mass necrosis. Meanwhile, the agent also showed obvious inhibition of tumor cell growth. Bioleaching technology greatly improves the utilization of realgar and is a novel methodology to improve the traditional method.

OBJECTIVE: To determine whether the gross tumor volume of resectable gastric adenocarcinoma on multidetector computed tomography could predict the presence of regional lymph node metastasis and could determine N categories. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A total of 202 consecutive patients with gastric adenocarcinoma who had undergone gastrectomy 1 week after contrast-enhanced multidetector computed tomography were retrospectively identified. The gross tumor volume was evaluated on multidetector computed tomography images. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to determine whether the gross tumor volume could predict regional lymph node metastasis, and the Mann-Whitney U test was performed to compare the gross tumor volume among N categories. Additionally, a receiver operating characteristic analysis was performed to identify the accuracy of the gross tumor volume in differentiating N categories. RESULTS: The gross tumor volume could predict regional lymph node metastasis (p<0.0001) in the univariate analysis, and the multivariate analyses indicated that the gross tumor volume was an independent risk factor for regional lymph node metastasis (p=0.005, odds ratio=1.364). The Mann-Whitney U test showed that the gross tumor volume could distinguish N0 from the N1-N3 categories, N0-N1 from N2-N3, and N0-N2 from N3 (all p<0.0001). In the T1-T4a categories, the gross tumor volume could differentiate N0 from the N1-N3 categories (cutoff, 12.3 cm3), N0-N1 from N2-N3 (cutoff, 16.6 cm3), and N0-N2 from N3 (cutoff, 24.6 cm3). In the T4a category, the gross tumor volume could differentiate N0 from the N1-N3 categories (cutoff, 15.8 cm3), N0-N1 from N2-N3 (cutoff, 17.8 cm3), and N0-N2 from N3 (cutoff, 24 cm3). CONCLUSION: The gross tumor volume of resectable gastric adenocarcinoma on multidetector computed tomography could predict regional lymph node metastasis and N categories.

Interstitial fluid flow stress is one of the most important mechanical stimulations of bone cells under physiological conditions. Osteocytes and osteoblasts act as primary mechanosensors within bones, and in vitro are able to respond to fluid shear stress, both morphologically and functionally. However, there is little information about the response of integrin-associated molecules using both osteoblasts and osteocytes. In this study, we investigated the changes in response to 2 hours of oscillatory fluid flow stress in the MLO-Y4 osteocyte-like cell line and the MC3T3-E1 osteoblast-like cell line. MLO-Y4 cells exhibited a significant increase in the expression of integrin-associated molecules, including OPN, CD44, vinculin and integrin avp3. However, there was no or limited increase observed in MC3T3-E1 osteoblast-like cells. Cell area and fiber stress formation were also markedly promoted by fluid flow only in MLO-Y4 cells. But the numbers of processes per cell remain unaffected in both cell lines.
