Spontaneous rupture of the anterior lens capsule in a patient with Alport’s syndrome

SUMMARY

The authors report a case of a 13-year-old patient with Alport’s syndrome, anterior lenticonus and spontaneous rupture of the anterior lens capsule. The main ocular manifestations of this syndrome as well as the findings in this patient are described.
