The present study had as objective to construct with the workers of nursing of a Public Health in a Municipal Center of Health (MCH) a proposal of pointers of Quality of Life in the Work from the perception of the same ones. It was used of the qualitative boarding, having as local of study a MCH located in the city of Rio de Janeiro; the citizens had been 34 professionals of the team of nursing, representing 100% of the group, to know: 7 nurses, 3 technician of nursing and 24 nurse aid. Focal group for attainment of the data was used. As results the workers had changed as indicating of Quality of Life in Work (QLW): the personal interrelation, the communication Inter-professional, the conditions of work, the organization and division of the work, the rights in the work, the motivation and security. In this direction, if it concluded for the necessity of the development of programs that support the quality of life of the workers in the units of nursing in Basic Units, considering the factors pointed for the professionals as elements that characterize the QLW.
