What is the multicultural self capable of?

Whoever visits a pre-, elementary or high school will recognize an education aimed at producing different subjects, mentored to conduct their actions in a multicultural way. This paper analyzes how multiculturalism government uses the functioning of technologies of the - reflexive, sentimental, citizen and free - self, operated by the ethnomathematical device. It shows how these technologies are combined with other specific techniques and practices of multicultural subjectivity government. It points out the analytical productivity that the Foucaultian perspective offers to think of other possibilities to experiment education in the present.
