O campo teórico da Análise do Discurso sustenta a presente discussão sobre o processo discursivo de reformulação de livros. Ao focar o eixo sujeito-sentido-versões - com uma ênfase pontual nos mecanismos sócio-históricos constitutivos do trabalho de autoria -, buscamos explicitar o modo como o acontecimento enunciativo (INDURSKY, 2008), uma vez que é responsável pela emergência da chamada "edição revista", afeta o enunciável próprio a uma dada formação discursiva e reconfigura as redes de memória. O sujeito-autor, tomado na teia das contradições históricas do campo em que se constitui, entra num jogo de repetir-deslocar-esquecer. A reflexão em pauta ganha um matiz a mais quando a identidade polêmica da "edição revista" entra em cena nos encaminhamentos finais.Resumo em Inglês:
The theoretical field of Discourse Analysis stands at the basis of the present discussion on the discursive process for reformulation of books. By focusing on the axis subject-meaning-versions - with a punctual emphasis on the socio-historical mechanisms, which constitute the work of authorship -, here one tries to make explicit how the enunciative event (INDURSKY, 2008), once it is responsible for the emergence of the so called "revised edition," affects the enunciable proper to a certain discursive formation, and reconfigures the memory networks. The subject-author, caught within the web of historical contradictions in which he constitutes himself, enters in a play of repeat-dislocate-forget. The reflection here developed acquires an overtone when the polemical identity of the "revised edition" is dealt with at the final considerations.Resumo em Português:
O ritual é tratado, neste estudo, como linguagem, considerando a falha elemento constitutivo da língua. Como a ideologia se materializa nas práticas rituais, e estas falham, há possíveis bloqueios na ordem ideológica. Explorando contribuições de Louis Althusser, Michel Pêcheux encontra nas teorizações do autor sobre o ritual a falha como a possibilidade mesma da resistência, pois o assujeitamento, questão incontornável para o sujeito, ao mesmo tempo livre e responsável, não acontece sem brechas na interpelação. Proximidades e distanciamentos entre Pêcheux e Foucault também são requeridos para se pensar o ritual de linguagem. Explicitações, diálogos e confrontos teóricos mobilizam a busca por compreender o ritual em sua sujeição a falhar para, assim, pensar o ritual telejornalístico, constituído pela falha , nos domínios próprios da Análise de Discurso francesa pêcheutiana. A tese defendida é de que no mesmo ponto de encontro material que se produz o efeito de evidência este se desfaz.Resumo em Inglês:
In this study ritual is approached as language, and the failing a constitutive element of the language. Since ideology materializes in the ritual practices, these fail, there are possible blockades at the ideological order. Based on the works by Louis Althusser, Michel Pêcheux finds in the author's theorizations on the ritual the failing as the very possibility of resistence, since subjecting, an unavoidable issue for the subject, at once free and responsible, does not occur without breaches in interpellation. Approximations and distancing between Pêcheux and Foucault are also required to think the ritual of language. Theoretical clarifications, dialogues and confrontations all mobilize the search for understanding the ritual in its subjection to failing in order, thus, to reflect on the TV news ritual, constituted by failure, within the domain of the Pêcheutian French Discourse Analysis. The thesis here supported is that at the very material point of encounter in which the effect is produced, it is unmade.Resumo em Português:
O objetivo deste artigo é discutir a construção do acontecimento midiático a partir de uma visão sociodiscursiva, e ilustrar como um mesmo acontecimento é instanciado em três gêneros distintos: capa de revista semanal, sumário de revista semanal e uma publicidade, com o intuito de discutir como se constitui a ação social midiatizada nestes três gêneros discursivos, extraídos da revista semanal Veja de 23 de fevereiro de 1994. Para discutir tal questão, valho-me dos estudos discursivos críticos desenvolvidos por Norman Fairclough (2003) e dos trabalhos sobre Semiótica Social, especificamente a Gramática do Design Visual, cunhada por Gunther Kress e Theo van Leeuwen (1996), e dos estudos sobre mídia de Patrick Charaudeau (2006). Os três gêneros, por meio das imagens e textos verbais, recriam as narrativas em torno do acontecimento, selecionando informações específicas, gerando discursos particulares, em função do contexto institucional. Dessa forma, os gêneros institucionalizam os caminhos para a regularização da interação e da ação social.Resumo em Inglês:
The goal in this paper is to discuss the construction of the mediatic event from a socio-discursive view, and illustrate how the same event is instantiated in three distinct genres: the front page of weekly magazines, the summary of weekly magazines and one publicity piece, in order to analyze how the mediatized social action is constituted within those three discursive genres, all samples from the weekly magazine Veja, from February 23rd, 1994. The discussion here carried out is based on the critical discursive studies by Norman Fairclough (2003), and on works on Social Semiotics, more specifically the Grammar of the Visual Design, as coined by Gunther Kress and Theo van Leeuwen (1996), in addition to the studies on media proposed by Patrick Charaudeau (2006). The three genres mentioned recreate, by means of images and verbal texts, the narratives around the event, selecting specific information, generating specific discourses relative to the institutional context. Thus, the genres do institutionalize the ways for the regularization of social action and interaction.Resumo em Português:
Tendo em vista que algumas instituições, a exemplo da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG), vêm requisitando, na prova de redação, a escrita de um gênero textual e não mais da dissertação, tradicionalmente solicitada na escola e na maioria dos vestibulares, este artigo objetiva (1) averiguar as práticas letradas requeridas na produção da carta-protesto proposta na prova de redação do vestibular da UFCG 2007 e (2) investigar a correlação entre as práticas demonstradas pelos candidatos na produção da carta e seu histórico de letramento. Para tal, foi realizada uma pesquisa descritivo-interpretativa cujo corpus foi constituído pela prova aplicada no vestibular referido, bem como por uma amostragem de cartas produzidas nesse evento, além de entrevistas realizadas com os candidatos. Os dados, analisados com base nos estudos sobre letramento crítico (BARTON; HAMILTON, 2000; GEE, 2000), indicam que o histórico de letramento dos candidatos parece ser fator decisivo para a mobilização de práticas letradas na redação.Resumo em Inglês:
Considering that some institutions, as the Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG), are now asking in the composition test that the candidates write a specific textual genre - and not, as before, a free style composition - in most of the exams to attend the university, the present paper aims at (1) assessing the required lettering practices in the production of a protest letter, as asked in the exam for the UFCG in 2007, and (2) investigate the correlation between the practices shown by the candidates in the production of the letter, and his/her lettering background. For such a goal, a descriptive-interpretive research was carried out, whose corpus was constituted by the test applied in the referred exam, as well as by a sample of the letters produced by the candidates, in addition to interviews with those candidates. The data were analyzed based on the studies on critical lettering (BATON; HAMILTON, 2000; GEE, 2000), and suggest that the lettering history of the candidates constitutes a decisive factor for the mobilization of lettered practices in compositions.Resumo em Português:
Neste artigo, discutimos o processo reflexivo vivenciado por duas professoras de inglês ao problematizarem suas ações em sala de aula. Destacamos particularmente o processo de reconfiguração de suas atividades pedagógicas que inicialmente focalizam estruturas lexicogramaticais isoladas e, no decorrer do processo reflexivo, são reconfiguradas em direção ao uso de gêneros textuais e à (des)construção dos contextos de situação e cultura nos quais esses textos são socialmente produzidos e vivenciados (MOTTA-ROTH, 2006). Essas reflexões foram desenvolvidas por meio de um processo de pesquisa colaborativo (MAGALHÃES, 2004). A análise do discurso dessas professoras indica que o processo reflexivo lhes permitiu desenvolver uma metaconsciência acerca de como a linguagem se organiza e se constitui ao mediar a atividade social.Resumo em Inglês:
In this paper is discussed the thoughtful process experienced by two English teachers, as they problematize their procedures in the classroom. In the foreground is the process of reconfiguration of their pedagogical activities, which initially would focus on the isolated lexical-grammatical structures and which, along the reflective process, were reconfigured to focus more on textual genres and on the (de)construction of the situational and cultural contexts in which such texts are socially produced and experienced (MOTTA-ROTH, 2006). Such thoughts were developed by means of a collaborative research process (MAGALHÃES, 2004). The discourse analysis of those teachers indicate that the reflective process allowed them to develop a metaawareness about how language organizes itself and constitutes itself when it mediates the social activity.Resumo em Português:
Este estudo testa a validade de duas asserções correntes nos atuais estudos qualitativos sobre fala com problemas. Primeiro, formas figurativas organizacionais de história interna constituem versões sucintas dos 'eus' desses narradores com problemas de fala. Segundo, blocos figurativos contribuem para a construção das identidades dos narradores quando algum obstáculo interno ou externo solapa a comunicação. Para explorar essa conexão entre autoconstrução narrativa e figurativa, o estudo adota uma abordagem de linha discursiva que reconhece a importância da Teoria Conceitual da Metáfora, assim como um desenho multimétodo de pesquisa envolvendo tanto análises qualitativas quanto quantitativas. A análise de um corpus de 101 histórias significativas produzidas por jovens adultos israelenses confirma o intrigante laço entre autoconstrução narrativa e figurativa.Resumo em Inglês:
The present study tests the validity of two claims foregrounded in current qualitative studies of troubled talk. First, single story-internal organizing figurative forms constitute succinct versions of troubled narrators' selves. Second, figurative clusters contribute to the construction of narrators' selves when some external or internal obstacle undermines communication. To explore this link between narrative and figurative self-construction, the study espouses a discourse-oriented approach which acknowledges the importance of Conceptual Metaphor Theory as well as a multimethods research design comprising qualitative and quantitative analyses. The analysis of a corpus of 101 meaningful stories produced by young Israeli adults supports the intriguing link between narrative and figurative self-construction.Resumo em Português:
O presente ensaio tem como objetivo articular interfaces e fronteiras entre a análise do discurso, a psicanálise lacaniana e o materialismo histórico. Nosso foco é a noção de sujeito considerando o aporte teórico de Marx/Lukács relativamente à noção de ideologia e, também, o aporte teórico de Freud/Lacan com relação ao conceito de inconsciente. Na noção de sujeito, central em Análise do Discurso, concentrase uma crítica ao idealismo e ao humanismo. É do sujeito interpelado pela ideologia, clivado pelo inconsciente e individualizado pelo Estado, que se formula uma teorização. É com relação ao sujeito enquanto posição no discurso que se constroem as análises. No artigo em tela, o conceito de subjetivação é incorporado a essa reflexão, que considera que o sujeito do discurso advém e se constitui na e pela linguagem.Resumo em Inglês:
The present essay aims at articulating interfaces and frontiers between Discourse Analysis, Lacanian psychoanalysis and Historical Materialism. The focus here is the notion of the subject, taking into account the theoretical contributions by Marx/Lukács relative to the notion of ideology, and also the contributions by Freud/Lacan in relation to the notion of the unconscious. In the notion of the subject, central for Discourse Analysis, a critique is concentrated on idealism and humanism. It is from that subject interpellated by ideology, split by the unconscious and individualized by the State that a theorization is built. It is in relation to that subject understood as a position within discourse that one builds the analyses. Here the concept of subjectivation is incorporated to this reflection, which considers that the subject of discourse comes from and is constituted within and by language.
