Aspects that interfere at access the information and interaction of the blind users with OPAC at university libraries

Presents a study focused on issues related to information accessibility contained in the online catalogs, also known as OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue), involving both the digital and the physical environment. Analyzed by automatic accessibility tool Access Monitor and direct review by the authors of the OPAC System Management Academic Activities (SIGAA) of the Federal University of Paraíba, and highlight the importance of university libraries adopt measures to contribute to the accessibility of various audiences, including people with visual impairments. From the case study, we make recommendations as to how to improve the interaction of blind users with the OPAC of University Libraries.
