This paper presents the general profile of a text about Bohr's atom adressed to the High School teacher, as well as the results of its evaluation by a sample of professionals working at this level of teaching. Confering upon a didactic approach of Bohr's theory based on Lakatos's paper ''Bohr: a research program that progresses under inconsistent fundaments'', the text presents a non-empirist alternative of this subject matter, opposing to the traditional epistemological orientation presented by textbooks.
