An anti-colonial imagination: the epistemology of penal abolitionism around the meanings of violence

Abstract

This article aims to explore the epistemology of penal abolitionism as a fertile field for thinking about the meanings of violence, especially with regard to the context and permanence of colonial violence. Thus, starting from a language-route to imagine new sociability that is not based on a single solution to the problematic situations.
